Addliance® was proud to participate in the FAME Symposium 2026 – Industrializing Research in Additive Manufacturing, held on May 20–21 at LUT University in Lappeenranta, Finland. Organized by FAME Ecosystem and LUT University, the symposium gathered leading stakeholders from across Europe’s Additive Manufacturing landscape to discuss industrialization, innovation, and the future competitiveness of European manufacturing.

The event represented another important milestone within the ongoing AMin4Y European Roadmap Strategic Consultation roadshow, an initiative focused on consolidating insights from industry leaders, research institutions, innovation hubs, and policymakers across Europe.

Finnish AM Community Shows Strong Engagement

The high level of participation and engagement from the Finnish Additive Manufacturing community highlighted the growing momentum behind the need for stronger European coordination, ecosystem alignment, and industrial collaboration in AM.

Throughout the symposium, discussions addressed key topics shaping the future of the sector, including industrial scalability, technology transfer, research industrialization, workforce development, and Finland's strategic positioning within the global AM landscape.

These conversations continue reinforcing the importance of building a more connected and globally competitive European Additive Manufacturing ecosystem.

Continuing the AMin4Y European Roadmap Roadshow

During the event, Addliance® continued promoting participation in the AMin4Y European Roadmap Strategic Consultation, inviting stakeholders across the European AM value chain to share their insights and contribute to shaping Europe’s future AM strategy.
